A New Cook Shack
The old 4-H Wagon Train Cook Wagon has served over 10,000 meals to our hungry Pioneers over more than three decades. Much like the kitchen in most homes, The Cook Wagon is the hub of the 4-H Wagon Train program - the center of every event.
For 36 years, volunteers have kept the Cook Wagon in good repair and replaced stoves, refrigerators, generators, pumps and other major systems along the way. However, investing in the old Cook Wagon is no longer safe or economical. It's time to retire the old Cook Wagon and update this hard working part of the program so Wagon Train can continue to serve 4-H Wagon Train kids and families.
Wagon Train volunteers are working hard, planning and designing a future Cook Wagon to meet the needs of kids, families, and volunteers on Wagon Train. A long list of in-kind donations have been secured, but cash donations are needed.
