Join us for a reunion of the participants of the 2017 "Barlow or Bust" Wagon Train participants. This is a chance to share memories, photos and more fun times. Hope to see you there!
Lyle Spiesschaert has graciously offered to host us for the 2017 Reunion Potluck Picnic on his beautiful property. The farm is green buildings with a blue-green farm house on the East side of Thatcher Road (one mile north on Thatcher Road just off of Gales Creek highway.
We plan to have a slide show/video show and would like to have all 2017 Wagon Train participants send a video clip of themselves talking about the wagon train! Please send this clip to Michelle Blumenthal at firstname.lastname@example.org BY FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 21st so we can include it in the slide show of photos and videos.
Keep the video clip around 30 seconds and talk about the 2017 Wagon Train - here are some ideas about what to talk about:
- the best part
- the hardest part
- the new friends you met
- the food
- the activities
- something funny
- how bad your feet hurt (or smelled!) at the end of the day
- something you'll always remember
- anything you want to talk about the trip!
ALSO - Don't forget to please use this link to share your 2017 Barlow or Bust 4H Wagon Train photos with the group. Lee Wiren has generously offered to host photos from 2017 Barlow or Bust, so please share your pics! It is VERY easy to load your photos - just drop and drag the files and wait for them to load:
You can view the album through this link: http://www.prismaticimagery.com/…/4-H-Wag…/2017-Barlow-Trail
Once uploaded, the photos are free to download or can be ordered at cost for home delivery from his site. THANKS LEE!
I enjoyed reading what Michelle came up with while she was getting ready for her first year on the trail with us. She was informative all along the way and shared some things I didn't even know about. Check out Michelle's final Blog: https://wagontrainblog.wordpress.com/2017/07/18/who-knew/
